On Friday 9th January an audience of more than 260 people gathered at the National College of Ireland, in the heart of the Financial Services Centre in Dublin, to hear a discussion on hope for happiness in a changed world arising from Msgr. Luigi Giussani’s book Is it possible to live this way, Volume 2 Hope.
Writer and columnist John Waters introduced the evening and, following a short welcome from the Lord Mayor of Dublin, he gave his own intervention. The second speaker was Fr. Julián Carrón, President of the Fraternity of Communion and Liberation who was followed by the Archbishop of Dublin, Most Reverend Diarmuid Martin who concluded the meeting.
